Casey Obstfeld, LPCMH

Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health

Founder

Originally from New York, I moved to Delaware in 2014 with a plan to continue my experience and training within the mental health field. Shortly after moving, I experienced a major life change which impacted my life and my career path. After taking several brief periods of not working within the mental health field, I decided to start a small private practice in 2018.

Matthew Holden, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Choosing to begin therapy is not an easy decision. It is fraught with uncertainty, doubt, and trepidation. My primary aim is to initially establish a therapeutic rapport from which we can build a lasting, working relationship. I am an active listener who relies on a variety of treatment modalities to help diminish the rate and severity of experienced symptoms.

Catherine Devaney, LMFT, LCDP

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional

After working for almost 40 years in the public mental health and substance use treatment field, much of it as a manager, I decided in 2016 to focus on the direct delivery of psychotherapy.   My primary interests are in working with individuals and families who have experienced or are currently struggling with relationship issues, trauma, and/or substance use, including codependency.

Laura Parker, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

I became interested in massage therapy a little later in life after working as an artist and graphic designer for 15 years. After graduating from National Massage Therapy Institute in Delaware, I then became nationally board certified and then a continuing education instructor.

My classes focus on medical massage and chronic pain. I began studying how massage can positively affect chronic conditions in order to help my clients.

17 years later and I am still learning as our understanding of the body ever develops.

Melissa Moody

Administrative Assistant

I am ECW’s administrative assistant and as the first point of contact, my goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space as I know reaching out to ask for help can be scary.

Through my time working in customer service, I prioritize the client experience by ensuring I am compassionate and supportive. It is important to me, in my personal and professional life, that whoever I am speaking with feels heard and understood.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and family and participate in hobbies such as kayaking, hiking, reading, and plants.
